Foundation first, then the AI.
I'm Eugen Schmidt — from mechatronics technician and maintenance engineer to data engineer. I know the machine as well as the cloud, and I build the data foundation that AI reliably runs on.
Today I work at one of the world's largest automotive groups in Bremen — on data pipelines, platforms and AI integration, pragmatic and measurable.
In industrial production since 2008, a data engineer since 2021.
Available freelance for selected projects — project-based, with clearly agreed response times and cleanly separated from my employment.
